Day 2 Get set to revel in the mesmeric ambiance of Goa! North Goa is replete with imposing forts, ancient temples, stunning churches, exhilarating party places, famous shacks, buzzing flea markets, lavish casinos and a whole host of other attractions. Go to Baga Beach to enjoy Motorboat Ride, Scuba Diving, Jet Skiing, Water Skiing, Banana Ride, River Cruise, Dolphin Trip, Windsurfing and Water Scooter! Have exciting times and party late into the night by visiting the hang-outs located right on the beach! Later, go to Fort Aguada, which is located at the southern tip of Candolim beach! Symbolizing a typical Portuguese military architecture, Aguada Fort hangs over the confluence of Mandovi River and the Arabian Sea. This beautiful red-brown fort houses the Central Jail and a 19th century lighthouse. Just sit back, relish the revitalizing sea breeze and see the sun disappearing into the endless ocean! If time permits, go to Mae de Deus Church at Saligao, which is situated in the Bardez Taluka! With the miraculous statue of Mae de Deus (Mother of God) inside the building, Mae de Deus Church represents one of the prettiest examples of the neo-gothic style of architecture. Built in the year 1873, the church with its captivating dome-shaped exteriors and well-carved interiors enchants one and all. In the evening, go to explore flea markets where you can find everything from beachwear to delicious prawns and beer! There are beach-side shacks where you can purchase trinkets made of seashells. Today after having Breakfast, visit Chapora Fort! The remnants of the fort, located at the banks of Chapora River, take you back to the fight between Portuguese and Marathas. Surrounded by steep walls, the fort offers unbelievable sights from all the sides including that of Vagator Beach, Chapora River and the deep blue ocean. Later get going to the Temple of Bogdeshwara, situated near Mapusa at about 12 kms from Panaji! The temple is located in a verdant environment and has a small shrine which is dedicated to Kanakeshwar Baba or Bodgeshwara, locally known as Bongini. After visiting the temple, get set to know Panjim! The headquarters of North Goa and the capital of Goa, Panjim City, is one of the most famous tourist places to visit. Roam around Panjim to savour a unique taste of cultural heritage and natural beauty. Dotted with beautiful red-blue-green-yellow roofed buildings made in Portuguese Baroque Style, Panjim is another name of serene beaches, carnivals, churches and soothing landscapes. When you go to the local markets, you can shop for designer shoes, purses, clothing, trinkets, cashew nuts, local handicrafts, Goan spices, jewellery and handbags. In the evening, go to Anjuna Beach, popular for its swinging palm trees, soft white sands and cyan waters. Today after Breakfast, you'll be dropped off at Goa International Airport in Dabolim/Madgaon Junction Railway Station for your onward journey. Goa will be etched in your memory forever...
