After having Breakfast, get moving to visit various places in Pachmarhi! With many a waterfalls, Pachmarhi is called Queen of Satpura. Start with Bee Falls, located at a distance of 5 kms from Pachmarhi Bus Station! The water here cascades down from a height of 35 metres, giving us a beautiful sight. Then go to Apsara Falls, situated in the hills of Pachmarhi near Pandava Caves! After this, visit Panchali Kund! Panchali Kund or Draupadi Kund is a small pool in the upper stream of Apsara Falls, where the main stream of water gets split into five smaller streams. Now you can visit Pandav Caves, near to Apsara Falls. Surrounded by dense forests, these caves are a group of five rock-cut caves, connected with the legend of Mahabharata. Later go to Reechgarh, which is a huge cave hidden within the folds of the hills of Pachmarhi! The cave has an opening at both ends. At the end today, visit Dhoopgarh, which is a beautiful hill-top and represents the highest point of the Satpura Range! Located in Hoshangabad district, Mt. After Breakfast, leave for Handi Khoh, a stunning V-shaped ravine with a 300-ft. high precipice in the middle of dense forests! Handi Khoh is truly a fun trek. Then go to Gupt Mahadev! At a distance of 13 kms from Pachmarhi Bus Station, Gupt Mahadev is a cave temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, inside a 40 ft. long cave located in Mahadeo Hills. Don't forget to visit Bada Mahadev, the cave which is a shrine for Lord Shiva, with idols of Brahma, Vishnu and Ganesh. The 60-ft. tall cave has a legend that Lord Vishnu killed Demon Bhasmasura there. Natural water-streams inside the cave become a holy pool, in which bathing is believed to wipe off everyone's sins. Go to Duchess Falls, located at a distance of 7 kms from Pachmarhi Bus Station! Popular as 'Jalwataran', Duchess Falls are a constant stream that falls down from a height of about 100 metres to split into three different cascades. At the end of the day, go to Jatashankar Cave, situated at a distance of 1.5 kms from Pachmarhi Bus Station! Jatashankar Cave has stone structures resembling Sheshnag, a snake with hundred heads mentioned in the Hindu mythology. The legend is that Lord Shiva hid himself from Bhasmasur inside this cave only. Getting recognized as a national park on 1 June, 1955, Kanha National Park was made the Kanha Tiger Reserve in 1973. Today it spreads over a vast expanse of grassland and forest of 940 sq. kms in the two districts, i.e. Mandla and Balaghat. The park has a good population of the Royal Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopards, Sloth Bears, Barasinghas and Indian Wild Dogs. The park boasts of a higher tiger-density than many other national parks in the country. Popular as one of the most attractive spots of Kanha National Park, Bamni Dadar is 275 m above Kanha to give you the best of sights of a sunset. Visit Kanha Museum, which is run by the Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh! The museum offers a great presentation of animal history with a huge collection of beautifully-sculpted structures of the animal species. Get set to enjoy Morning Jungle Safari (Gypsy & Safari, both on Extra Costs)! Get back to your hotel/resort! Have Lunch and relax! In the evening again, go for Jungle Safari (Gypsy & Safari, both on Extra Costs)! If time permits and you're an interested traveller, go to Mandla, located 35 kms away from Kanha National Park! Get to see an imposing fort, surrounded by Sahastradhara River! You've breathtaking views of RangrezGhat and Rapta Ghat including the catchment area of whispering Narmada River and its tributaries in which the town of Mandla is situated. After an early Breakfast, hit the road for Bhedaghat in Jabalpur! Check in to the hotel in Jabalpur and relax for a while! Later go for sightseeing at Bhedaghat! In Bhedaghat, have a sight of marble Rocks, a huge assortment of limestone and magnesium rocks on the banks of the Narmada River! When Narmada flows through the Marble Rocks, it narrows down at a specific place and plunges into a waterfall. The waterfall is called Dhuandhar, as the powerful fall of the river on the rocks creates a vigorous build of mist and a huge noise, that can be heard from a faraway place. If time permits, visit Chausath Yogini Temple, located nearby! Built by the Kalachuri dynasty way back in the 10th century, the temple houses exactly 64 carved figures of Yoginis, each one in her own designated shrine. Overnight Stay at Jabalpur Breakfast Dinner
