Kathmandu (1 Night)

Today en-route Chitwan National Park, get to enjoy a cable car ride to visit the Manakamana Devi Temple! Manakamana Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, is situated in the village of Manakamana in Gorkha District, Gandaki Province. The temple is a multi-layered ancient pagoda with the Himalayas as the background. The cable car helps to cover the distance to the Temple in just 10 minutes, which would otherwise be a five-hour uphill climb. The ride begins from across the Trishuli River bank (258 meter) and as you ascend the hill, you get lost in the immersive view of surrounding hills. Later we reach Chitwan National Park, the first National Park of Nepal and a UNESCO world heritage site. Upon arrival, you've free time to relax and roam around. Kathmandu – Chitwan (2 Nights)

Today you get to visit Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park was established in 1973 as Nepal’s first national park. Back then, it was known as Royal Chitwan National Park. The wildlife park was established mainly to protect the declining population of the one-horned rhinoceros. The park is the second largest natural habitat of the one-horned rhinoceros. The largest is India’s Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The unique ecosystem of the Terai region includes dense subtropical jungles, rivers and grasslands. There are more than 50 species of mammals here, including monkeys, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild boar, hyenas, deer, elephants and rhinos. There are also 450 different species of birds and 67 species of butterflies. The main attraction of Chitwan is the Elephant Safari. It is a unique experience to explore the jungle on the back of a trained elephant. Later in the afternoon, you will take a Canoe Ride on the Rapti River. This is an excellent opportunity for bird-watching and you might even see two rare species of crocodiles, i.e. the Marsh Mugger and the Gharial Crocodile. Chitwan National Park

Chitwan – Pokhara (2 Nights)

Today early morning, you visit the Sarangkot Sunrise Viewpoint. Feel on top of the world with breathtaking sunrise views of the Annapurna Range and Fishtail Mountain! Later, you're free to explore Pokhara city, You can enjoy a pleasant boat ride in Phewa Lake. Looking at sunrise and sunset from Phewa Lake-side while doing boating, is an exhilarating experience. Visit Barahi Temple, located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake! It is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Go to Bindhyabasini Temple, situated on top of a small hill! This is the oldest temple in Pokhara. Later, visit International Mountaineering Museum and its three main exhibition halls, i.e. Hall of Great Himalayas, Hall of Fame and Hall of World Mountains! Pokhara

Today you travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu by a 25-minute flight. On the arrival, you visit Kathmandu Darbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Kathmandu Durbar Square, premises consisting of palaces, courtyards and temples, used to be a ruling ground for the Malla Kings, who were the first monarchs to rule over Kathmandu after its independence. The square is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The square reflects Kathmandu's most spectacular traditional architecture. Here you will visit Kumari Ghar, the house of Living Goddess Kumari, is located on the southern side of the Kathmandu Durbar Square premises. Built by King Jaya Prakash Malla in 1757, Kumari Ghar is an example of Nepal's striking architecture with its delicately carved wood carvings of gods and various symbols. Every day visitors and worshipers throng in the courtyard below the balcony of the Kumari Ghar, hoping to catch a glimpse of a living goddess. The best time to see the living goddess is between 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. No photography or video is allowed of Kumari. Hanuman Dhoka or Hanuman Gate is located on the west side of Durbar Square. It is the entry gate to the palace, where a standing statue of Hanuman dated to 1672, guards the palace. Swayambhunath is situated on top of Semgu Hill, located on the outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley. Swayambhu Temple is one of the most important religious shrines in Nepal. The sanctum is one of the holiest sites among Buddhists and Tibetans. When you climb as many as 365 steps to reach the top, then soak up the panoramic view of the capital city of Kathmandu! Pokhara – Kathmandu (2 Nights)

Today you tour around Kathmandu City, Nestled in its namesake valley surrounded by Himalayan mountains, Kathmandu, Nepal's capital is replete with historic sites, ancient temples and shrines, golden pagodas and enthralling villages. Local markets are abuzz with activities, providing with a wide variety of merchandise to fill your shopping bags. Handicrafts, carpets and Nepali paper prints are the most popular items for shoppers. You get to visit Pashupatinath Temple today. As one of the four most important religious sites in Asia and believed to be the world's biggest and oldest Shiva temple, Pashupatinath exudes a different spiritual charm. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it bears a deep historical and cultural significance. Located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, this architectural marvel is designed in the Nepali pagoda style and is embellished with intricate carvings and beautiful decorations that depict Nepal's rich artistic history. There are hundreds of small temples inside the complex like Guhyeshwari Temple, Vatasala Temple, Ram Temple, Sati's Gate and various other temples. There are many small tombs inside the Gorakhnath temple complex. Regarded to be an incredibly pure pilgrimage destination, Pashupatinath Temple is widely believed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingam locations. Then go to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is located about 13 kms to the east of the Kathmandu Valley. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was once home to the royal family of Bhaktapur. Locally known as Khwopa or the ancient Newa City, the entire complex comprises four different squares, i.e. Taumadhi Square, Durbar Square, Pottery Square and Dattatreya Square. You get to see some amazing royal palaces, visually stunning temples and other ancient structures from the history of 17th to 18th century.
