Today morning, after breakfast, take a sightseeing trip to - Sattal (Optional Costs), located at Lower Himalayan Range near Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal (Optional Costs), also known as lake of nine corners, BhimTal is a lake in the town of Bhimtal. Nainital Zoo : A high-altitude home for wild animals, Nainital Zoo is 2100 m above the sea-level. It is also known as Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo. It houses animals like Tibetan wolves, leopards, Sambars, Lady Amherst pheasants, red jungle fowls, rose-ringed parakeets etc. Timings : 10:00 am – 4:30 pm Entry fee : INR 50 per person (adult) INR 20 per child Mall Road - Nainital is famous for hand-made candles. Collecting candles of various forms, shapes and sizes is one of the best things to do in Nainital. The locals make amazing candles here – designs and patterns that you have never seen. Today morning after breakfast, enjoy resort. Later, visit to Tiffin top :Catch a glimpse from Tiffin Top, a peak in Nainital and witness the most awe-inspiring sight. The place is only about 4 kms from the heart of Nainital and makes for a wonderful trek. You can also enjoy a horse ride to go there. Nainital Rope way : The ropeway takes you to small peaks in Nainital and also gives you a bird’s eye view of the hill station. It should definitely be given a shot if you love high-rise views. The cable car runs from Mallital to Snow View. Naina Devi Temple : Spend some quiet time here, you will surely come back refreshed. The Naina Devi Temple is dedicated to goddess Naina Devi, who is believed to be governing the Naini Lake. It is believed to be one of the 64 Shaktipeeths in India. Timings : 04:00 am – 10:00 pm. Raj Bhawan : Nainital Governor’s House is some place to visit, surely if you are a lover of museums. The two-storey mansion contains around 113 rooms, but visitors are only allowed in its vast lawns and in the 18-hole golf course within its premises. Constructed by the British in 1924, the golf course is set around a scenic forest, and is home to several rare species of flora and fauna. Naini Lake surely is a soul-refreshing sight. Jim Corbett National Park is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The magical landscape of Corbett is well-known for its tiger population. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also prominent as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. It spans over an extent of 520 square kilometers. Its whole area comprises hills, marshy depressions, riverine belts, grasslands and large lake. In order to promote tourism in the region, Corbett National Park has been divided into five different zones. These are marked buffer or core areas in the park where visitors can enjoy wildlife safari. Bijrani Safari Zone is very popular tourist hub because of its abundant natural beauty and open grasslands. The entry gate of the zone is located at a distance of only 1 mm from the Ramnagar city. Jhirna Safari Zone is another important tourist zone in the Jim Corbett National park that is open for tourists round the year. Jhirna Gate is located at 16 kms from the Ramnagar city. Dhela Safari Zone is a new eco-tourism area in Corbett National Park, which was included in tiger reserve zone in November 2014. This zone is located at an approximate distance of 13 kms from the Ramnagar city. Dhikala Zone is the largest and most varied zone in Corbett, Dhikala is famous for its abundant natural beauty, which brings in the best sight of exotic fauna. The entry gate is 18 kms away from the Ramnagar city. The zone is highly recommended for the hardcore wildlife enthusiasts. Night-stay inside the Dhikala Zone Durga Devi Zone : Located on the north-eastern boundary of the Jim Corbett National Park, Durga Devi Zone is the ultimate place for bird watchers. Entry gate is located at an approximate distance of 36 kms from the Ramnagar city. Though Sitabani Buffer Zone doesn't fall under the Corbett Tiger Reserve area, yet if you are fond of serene ambience of the natural beauty, you must visit Sitabani area. There are 2 types of Safari Zones: Jeep Safari : Jeep is a four-wheeler vehicle, permitted to enter through all buffer zones of the park. It is the most popular way because a Jeep is smaller in size and can take you easily to some of the unexplored and hidden corners of the jungle Jeep Safari can be done in tourism zones like Bijrani, Jhirna, Durgadevi, Dhela and Sitabani. Canter safari : Canter Safari is only available if one is staying in the Dhikala Zone (booking to be done only through tourism website, In well-populated tiger areas, Canter Safari is the only option. Today morning after Breakfast, set out to visit some of the sightseeing places in Mussoorie. Visit Mussoorie Lake: Mussoorie Lake is around 6 kms from the city centre. One can enjoy boating in this beautiful lake (boat ride at additional costs) Bhatta Falls: Bhatta Falls are a trekkers' paradise as you’ll have to walk some distance in order to reach the place. After you reach here, there are plenty of things that you can do to recreate yourself in the lush greenery and the beauty of the place. You can even splash in the fresh water of the Bhatta Falls. They have some small eateries where visitors can enjoy the delicious noodles, boiled eggs, soup, tea or coffee. The falls are at their best during monsoon. Gun Hill : It is the second-highest peak in Mussoorie. Irrespective of the time of the month, do carry woollen clothes with you! Views from the top of the Gun Hill are breathtaking. Best time to visit this place is from March to June. (one can also enjoy a cable car at additional costs) Lal Tibba: The place is known for its scenic beauty thanks to the pleasant sunrise and sunset that leave the visitors spellbound. Do carry woollens irrespective of the month of the visit. It is at an altitude of 7460 ft. above sea level. Lal Tibba is also famous as the Depot Hill because of the presence of a depot here. Besides this, there is a camp of the Indian Military services here, For visiting Lal Tibba, one has to take a cab at additional costs from Mall Road. Our Vehicles will not go to Lal Tibba. Today morning after Breakfast, check out and drive to Haridwar/Rishikesh. Explore the holy Rishikesh and the holy Ganges on your own. Rishikesh is located on the banks of the Ganges in the lush green mountain forest around the Ganges. Rishikesh is also known as the Yoga Capital of the World. Here you can visit temples and shops and take small boat-ride (own expenses) on the holy Ganges. On arrival, check into the hotel, freshen up and visit LaxmanJhula! Lakshman Jhula is a famous hanging bridge across the river Ganges, connecting two villages, i.e. Tapovan in the Tehri Garhwal district and Jonk in the Pauri Garhwal district. Entire bridge is made up of iron, It is 450 ft. long and is situated at the height of 70 feet from the river. Lakshman Jhula carries many mythological stories linked with it. It is widely believed that Lord Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama, had crossed the river Ganges at the point where now the bridge has been built. Later drive to Haridwar! Evening visit Har-Ki- Pauri for Ganga Aarti. The opening and closing timings for Ganga Aarti in Haridwar are from morning 5:30 am to 6:30 am and evening 6 pm to 7 pm. (check timings with the hotel) Help to visit Ganga Aarti 1.Be sure to reach the Ghat at least 45 mins before the morning Aarti and 75 minutes before the evening Aarti to grab a seat for yourself and visit the Aarti closely. Since there is a massive rush at the time of the Aarti, be sure to take care of your belongings and valuables. Do not let children go out of your sight. Seats near the Clock Tower and across the Ganga Temple, on the stairs of the ghats (across the footbridge) are advisable for a good view. Return to the hotel.
